About Us

Move to Thrive is a Pilates training and movement education platform founded by Ashly Beldon‑Egbuna, MPH, CHES. Our mission is to help people build strength, mobility, and confidence through mindful, accessible Pilates and embodied movement practices that support real life — not just workouts.

With over two decades of experience as a Pilates instructor, teacher trainer, and health educator, Ashly created Move to Thrive to bridge the gap between traditional fitness and sustainable, body‑aware movement. Our approach honors anatomy, nervous system health, and the lived experience of each body.

Our Philosophy
We believe that:
Movement should feel empowering, not punishing
Pilates is most effective when it is clear, intentional, and adaptable
Strength, mobility, and awareness are skills that evolve over time
Education is the key to lifelong movement health
At Move to Thrive, we teach Pilates as a practice, not a performance — supporting posture, coordination, breath, and rhythm so you can move with greater ease in daily life.
